I recently missed a phone call from someone but they did leave a message, basically saying how much they enjoy reading the blog (thank you) and asking if I knew of any websites for birdwatching in the Scottish Highlands, unfortunately you didn't leave your phone number so I haven't been able to ring you back, so hopefully you will read this and give the following website a try.

Thanks again for the kind words and good luck.
I didn't get down to Westport yesterday but Mr Reliable Nick Smith did and recorded the following, male Gadwall on the main lake, 32 Mute Swans (Inc the youngster), 18 Great Crested Grebes (Inc 3 young), 6 Tufted Duck, a single singing Garden Warbler, a Black-headed Gull on the jetty, 5 Reed Warblers and 'Sammy' Shoveler.
