Nick Smith recorded 1x Common Sandpiper this morning, also Lesser Black-backed Gull x7, Little Ringed Plover x2, Tufted Duck x4, Great Crested Grebe x6, Mute Swan x8, Great Spotted Woodpecker x1, Bullfinch x3, Mistle Thrush x1, Blackcap x10, Willow Warbler x1, Whitethroat x7 (inc one 'Wood Warbler' Ave and one in the Nature Reserve again), Garden Warbler x3 (one sidings, 2 old sewage works), Reed Warbler x2, Stock Dove x3, Jackdaw x2.

I called this afternoon from 16.10 - 18.10, it had just been raining but when I got down the sun was out and it was very pleasant with a temp of 16c, quite a strong southerly breeze.
On the playing field 3x Mistle Thrush and 10x Starling, the model boating lake had 2x Great Crested Grebe, 4x Mute Swans, 1x Grey Heron and 3x young Canada Geese. The main lake held 4x Great Crested Grebe, 4x Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1x Shoveler, only 4x Tufted Duck, 3x Mute Swans, 15x young Coot and 31x young Canada Geese.
The Nature Reserve was rather quiet, 1x Chiffchaff, 1x Blackcap, 1x Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2x Collared Dove and 1x Reed Warbler on the top pool with the still sitting Mute Swan. The Gas/Sewage works area had, 5x Whitethroat, 1x Chiffchaff, 2x Swallows and 1x Willow Warbler.
Along the canal a Grey Wagtail was singing from the old pottery buildings.

Total species seen 38.
