This morning Nick Smith recorded the following, 1x Buzzard, 1x Sparrowhawk, 7x Great Crested Grebe, 2x Reed Bunting, 1x Jay, 1x Common Sandpiper, 2x Little Ringed Plover, 7x Chiffchaff, 10x Blackcap, 7x Whitethroat & 2x Garden Warbler.

I went down this afternoon from 18.20 - 20.20, it was a cool 12c with a strong northery breeze, very heavy cloud cover with a bit of sunshine late on.
6x Blackcap where around various parts of the park with 3 in the top wood by the model boating lake, a new party of young Canada's where in the Nature Reserve totalling 7x Goslings, only 2x Willow Warblers where heard, one at the back of Prices field and one by the main entrance, Mute Swans numbered 15, nine on the model boating lake, five on the main lake and one on the top pool, the main lake was covered with, Swallows, Swifts, House Martins and a few Sand Martins, also 12x Tufted Ducks and 6x Great Crested Grebes, in the Nature Reserve a Treecreeper was by the boardwalk bridge and 1x Reed Warbler at the top pool.
A Grey Heron was on the small pond on the old gas works, 1x Chiffchaff and 2x Whitethroats where singing on the old sewage works.

Total species seen 34.
